Susanne M. Radek
Partner
Ms. Radek has nearly 13 years experience in the voluntary benefits
and property casualty industries with an emphasis on strategic
planning, marketing, media relations, sales promotion, operations
and project management. Ms. Radek and her partners founded Daymark
Advisors, a Baltimore-based consulting and advisory services firm
in 2001. Exclusively serving the insurance, financial services
and workforce management market sectors, Daymark Advisors provides
strategic consultancy on a retained basis and is a merger and acquisition
intermediary with clients on both the buy and sell side. Ms. Radek
leads Daymark’s consulting practice.
Ms. Radek has led
client engagements that have involved market research, marketing
strategy development and product development. Significant clients
projects have included: Electric Insurance Company; Flexbenefits
Group Ltd.; IB Services; Intercede Services; and Privacy Council,
among others.
Ms. Radek began her career with Zurich Insurance Group
and has experience with affinity and worksite marketing; direct
customer
sales; post-purchase policy service and claims administration;
as well as personal and commercial lines underwriting. She currently
maintains an active property and casualty insurance license. Subsequently,
Ms. Radek worked for RewardsPlus, a national optional benefits
company that leverages Internet and worksite-marketing strategies
to deliver customized benefit solutions to employers. She managed
Rewards Plus’ initial client launches for the California
State Employees Association and Mirage Resorts, while also managing
the company’s call center, corporate marketing, and media
relations initiatives. In addition, Ms. Radek was a Senior Project
Manager for Gr8 a national marketing communications agency for
whom she managed client relationships including: Polk Audio; Prime
Retail, LP; and Sylvan Learning Systems. She was a founder and
Vice President of Marketing for Incube8, a business incubator and
venture fund.
Ms. Radek is a graduate of Loyola College. She is
active in the local community, is a member of the Board of Directors
of the Maryland
Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and volunteers for
South Baltimore Station, a shelter for the homeless.
